Concrete Repair
Over time concrete will tend to get brittle, and when not poured properly it will start to crumble. Determining factors on how long your concrete structure will last are, soil conditions, water conditions, mixture used, rebar cage installation, finishes over the concrete and many more. These simple factors can range from concrete that has been undisturbed by eroding water and sits perfectly for the next 50 years. When you mix concrete such as foundations or sidewalks anywhere near running water or maybe an area that has mainly clay soil, this is a recipe for disaster. Over time this concrete foundation or concrete sidewalk WILL fail, and that's when you call us, the concrete repair experts of Los Angeles. Some longer term fixes would be looking into a retaining wall to control water flow, or even trying a different coating and residential drainage to help change the course of the water. We can use concrete levelers or mud jacking to get slabs back to level. We can even parge and skim coat the surface of your failing concrete to get the old look back, even if just for a couple years. Let our trained professionals give you an honest assessment and a path to fixing your concrete, whether you need it another year or you need it for another 50, we can guide you through all your options.

Over time if the foundation is still shifting, then the tape will either break or the lines will no longer match up with initial markings. If you see this, then it's time to start calling a foundation repair specialist.

Some steps need to be totally replaced and re-poured. Overall nothing is more important than the safety of those in and around your home or business. Making sure that your steps are proper should be your number goal once you realize they are unsafe.
